Social SA8000 Certification

The Adecco Group has obtained certification SAB000 Social. Since 2005, the principles of the international standard have represented for us an important reference for our corporate social responsibility policy.

The Adecco Group, through the commitment of every employee, has always played an important social role, which over the years has featured, with growing awareness, corporate strategies. The SA standard (Social Accountability) 8000, international standard developed in 1997 by the American SAI , contains nine social requirements aimed at increasing competitiveness of organizations that voluntarily provide guarantee of ethics of their supply chain and their production cycle, and it encourages organizations to develop, maintain and apply socially acceptable practices in the workplace.

The nine requirements are:

  1. Child labor
  2. forced and compulsory labor
  3. Health and Safety
  4. Freedom of association and right to collective bargaining
  5. Discrimination
  6. Disciplinary procedures
  7. Working hours
  8. Compensation
  9. Management System

Compliance with the standard rules is guaranteed by a certificate of Part Three, independent. issued by accredited bodies, in our case CISE .

The certification is a guarantee of ethics of the way of working of The Adecco Group, and brings great benefits, not only in terms of business, but also to improve the trust of employees, customers and the general public.
